Freelance photographer and web developer

Hello. My name is Kevin Jantzer, I’m 23 and I love creating websites and taking pictures. I graduated from Southern Oregon University in the spring of 2010 with a bachelors in Small Business Management. I currently work full time as a the lead Web Developer at an awesome company – Folium Partners, LLC. When I’m not at my day job, I actively pursue KJC.

KJC all started back when I was a child when my parents fed the curiosity I had for computers. I began tinkering around with Windows 3.1 (mostly paint) and typing programs. Not long after I learned how to make homemade cards and with the business-like-mind my dad had instilled in me, I typed on the back of the card: Kevin Jantzer Creations. The name stuck with me as I progressed through the years, learning basic HTML, honing my Photoshop skills, and customizing everything on the web I could.

As I finished my senior year in High School, both my interest in photography and web design began to flourish. I created KevinJantzer.com to host all of my pictures and began photographing every Cross Country and Track meet I went to. Although hardly anyone actually went to my site, I felt proud to have it. As I entered my freshman year in college, I took my first web design class, drastically changing how I saw web sites. From then on, I have been avid about creating the highest quality and most aesthetically pleasing websites possible.

My enthusiasm for photography has always been, but was enhanced after my experience as camp photographer at Steens Mountain Running Camp. Taking over 7000 pictures in two weeks and seeing the joy people have from your work is priceless. I’m currently shooting with a Canon 5D, Canon 40D, Canon 70-200mm 1.4, Canon 24-70mm 2.8, and a Canon 50mm 1.4 and take every chance I can to learn something new with my camera.

Thanks for visiting,
Kevin Jantzer
