Marble Mountain Wilderness on Labor Day Weekend 2015
Spent the weekend exploring the Marble Mountain Wilderness with my brother. We started at Shackleford Creek trailhead making our way past Campbell Lake to spend the night at Summit Lake. The next day we moved on to Sky High Lakes before settling down at Shadow Lake overlooking them all. Finally, we hiked the 10 mile trek back to Shackleford Creek Trailhead, this time passing by Log Lake. Overall we covered around 22 miles over the weekend.
A Weekend on the Illinois River – June 14, 2015
Waterfalls, swimming holes, fun in the fish ladder, exploring a beautiful tributary and sleeping out in the open air.
Exploring Middle Fork Applegate River
Some fun river exploring on a hot summer day after church. I didn’t want to end up “working” so I left my DSLR at home and used my iPhone 6+. For the video I used my GoPro Hero 3 and Feiyu Tech G4 gimbal.
Extreme Kickball
Having fun like a kid playing kickball!
Applegate River – Aug 17, 2014
We met two brothers and their friend at church today. They’re on their way from from Ohio to San Diego area so we showed them some local rope swings!
Always fun to meet fellow brothers in Christ.
Illinois River – June 14, 2014
It’s summer again and that means it is river time! This weekend we took a trip to Illinois River in Southern Oregon to enjoy the sun and do some cliff jumping. I got a little burnt, but it was worth it ;)
